The Democrats' vice-presidential nominee suggested earlier this week that an Obama administration would pursue members of the Bush administration for their "crimes":
"When asked during a campaign event in Deerfield Beach, Florida, whether he would "pursue the violations that have been made against our Constitution by the present administration", Biden answered in the affirmative. "We will not be stopped from pursuing any criminal offence that's occurred," he continued, going on to praise congressional committees for the deliberate pace of their inquiries into alleged Bush administration misdeeds."
Read the whole thing. He claims they should do this because no one is "above the law."
The question, of course, is: are policy differences to be criminal offenses, now?
And shouldn't a new administration move forward? He claims something like this would not be done out of "vengeance", but I think we all know that the genesis for such inquiries arises out of Angry Left vengeance; so it's hard to see how revenge and silly score-settling would be kept out of it.
This kind of thing is nuts. Use this, conservatives--it shows how the Obama people aren't immune to the nuttiness of the left.
