The Obama administration's poor excuses

During the campaign, President Obama said his budgets wouldn't contain "earmarks"--pork barrel spending diverted to congressmen's pet projects at home. Well, but he's about to sign a budget that contains plenty of them--and see the poor excuses his aides are making:

"Orszag said: "We want to just move on. Let's get this bill done, get it into law and move forward."...."First, this is a $1.7 trillion deficit he inherited. Let's be clear about that. We inherited this deficit and we inherited $4 trillion of new debt," Emanuel said. "That is the facts."

Looks like the blame-Bush-for-everything game is in full swing among Obama's hands.
But at least he's getting some hostile treatment in the media for it.
