Huh? Well, no, not because of who she is, certainly not because of what she's done with her life (yet, anyway), and not because she's pregnant. But because of what she said to Diane Sawyer on ABC. Richie pled guilty to drunk driving and will spend some time in jail. So what did she have to say about that? "I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would," Richie said about her recent guilty plea. "And unfortunately, I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult."
Amen. Well-said. I don't know if Ms. Richie will live up to that. But maybe she and others will. Good luck to her.
