Former President Carter, who as president notably failed to establish U.S. leadership in many areas, writes in the Washington Post today about U.S. leadership in the world.
He talks a lot about human rights, but fails in his piece to mention one of the most important human rights abuses today--those of terrorists robbing innocent people of life itself.
Naturally he writes about closing the prison at Guantanamo for suspected terrorists, etc etc etc...but has no advice to offer on how the U.S. should fight terrorism. Typical...
