One of the NY Times' most liberal columnists is (of course) bashing Sarah Palin today:
"If Governor Palin didn’t like a question, or didn’t know the answer, she responded as though some other question had been asked. She made no bones about this, saying early in the debate: “I may not answer the questions the way that either the moderator or you want to hear.”
Really, Mr. Herbert? What about the howlers Joe Biden put forward during this debate (already referred to earlier here today)? What about the first debate between Barack Obama and John McCain? Given a chance to explain what spending priorities Mr. Obama would cut back, given the size of the financial rescue plan the government was about to implement, everyone agrees Obama punted. He offered nothing. Got something to say about that, Mr. Herbert?
Of course he doesn't.
