Obama-Republicans? (contd)

Are there really some Republicans favoring Barack Obama?
Well, yes, as the NY Times recently reported.
But WHY do they back Obama? Does their reasoning make any sense?
Well, let's ask one GOPer for Obama quoted in the link above, Susan Eisenhower.
Why are you for Obama?

“Obama seems like a leader who can deal with challenges that are highly complex, nuanced and interconnected,” Ms. Eisenhower said, “and he has the language and communication skills and temperament to engage a set of world leaders who are his generation.”

Because he's young. Because you think he sounds good. But not one reference to a specific policy position actually held by Senator Obama. Great thinking there, Ms. Eisenhower.

Your grandfather wouldn't be proud.
