Hi everyone. Welcome to Fundamentals and Falsehoods, my new blog. We're going to do everything here--first and foremost, of course, politics and ideas. But also sports, educational issues, popular culture, and anything else I feel like writing about. About me: I teach here; I have a lot of interest in American conservative thought, as I was lucky enough to write and see published this book; way back when, I got my Ph.D. in American history from this fine university; and by the way, if you're looking for good fast food, recently I've munched contentedly on food from here.
